What people are saying about Curseborne.

Black Fabric

Curseborne excels at making each curse feel personal. The narrative and mechanics are always pushing players to think in terms of relationships, whether between their fellow Accursed or with the mortals they must cultivate to survive. There are lots of supernatural games that cordon off the mortal world as something you exist with and not in. Curseborne not only allows the players to play with those relationships -- it demands it.

Yellow Curtain

Even though it’s a horror game, the scenarios leave enough freedom for the humanity and humor to peek through making the tense moments tense and the lighter moments hilarious.

If you’re a fan of Supernatural and TTRPGs you WANT to, no NEED to play this!!!

Dark Rocks

The lineages in Curseborne are both flavorful and evocative—each one offers unique, unexpected angles from which a player can approach character development. This diversity and this innovation provide room for creativity and invention, allowing players to make their mark. Simultaneously, the lineages feel rich in lore and history, allowing players to weave themselves seamlessly into the world of the game.

Scary Building

Curseborne's an extremely fun game and so easy to learn! I really enjoy how in depth you can get into each playable Lineage!

Red Landscape

Curseborne has a intuitive ruleset that makes onboarding accessible and fun. The mechanics are simplistic, elegant, and truly drive narrative storytelling. I'd absolutely recommend this game for new GMs looking to start running horror, as well as new players who are onboarding into the genre.

Abstract Texture

It's not easy to make a game where the full range of fantasy horrors can exist in the same rules and play nice. Curseborne succeeds where decades of homebrew have struggled. In other games, 'A shifter, a vampire, and a ghost walk into a bar' is the setup for a joke. In Curseborne, it's a balanced party starting an occult adventure.
